The Port Neches-Groves ISD Board of Trustees accepted the recommendation from the Bond Exploration Committee and called for a  Bond Election.  On May 12, 2007, voters approved the bond proposition (2520 For, 1337 Against).  Overview of Bond Proposal

Bond News

January 15, 2008 Board approves the contract for construction manager at risk with H.B. Neild     & Sons of Beaumont, Texas in accordance with the proposals received on December 14, 2007 for replacement of the Port Neches Middle School and Groves Middle School portion of the 2007 bond construction program.  
Contract

Board approves the contract for Construction manager at risk with Allco, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas in accordance with the proposals received on December 14, 2007 for the addition/renovation for the Port Neches-Groves High School portion of the 2007 bond construction program.
 

January 10, 2008

Port Neches-Groves Independent School District approve the stadium  construction contract with H.B. Neild & Sons, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas in an amount not to exceed $9,693,671.00 with further reductions in the amount to become effective upon completion of the revised Construction Documents by SHW Group, with a final completion date established as October 1, 2008.  PNG Stadium Design Amendment
